To provide opportunities for mutual
support and spiritual enrichment for all deacons, wives,
widows and families.To facilitate
the opportunity for ongoing formation to enable deacons to
serve better the people whom
they are called to serve.
To provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, and to promote
the spirit of ecumenism and to establish ecumenical links.
To provide representation to the NCP in its consultative
role to the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference.
